How to do a Football betting pool correctly?

I want to do a Football pool for our Superbowl party with 100 squares. How do I do this correctly? Also, with 10 adults.. how much do you think the squares should be each? Thank you!

  1. 10 squares across and down = 100 total
    -after all squares are taken(people write name in them),
    you pull ace thru 10 out of a deck of cards.
    -have people randomly pick and write #'s on top from left to right
    -then flip a coin to designate which conference is on top and on the side
    -pay offs are at the end of each quarter(example if game is 7-3 at the end of the 1st qtr, go to 7 pts to respective team, then 3pts for the other and you have your 1st winner
    at a buck a square, the winner gets $25/ $10 a square is $250 and so on
    _ I suggest you start the pool now if possible, you won't have enough time to get it filled prior to kickoff on the day of the game
    -with 10 people you can charge $10 each and they get to pick 10 squares
  2. 100 squares has to be divided into 50 each for both the opponets.Numberof players may not be a problem as they have to occupy either places,In the existing area in the ratio of actual area is adjusted and play the game with the planned area of 50squres each side ,IT WILL BE A NICE GAME,
  3. ten adults? easy way is to get a deck of cards pull out a suit from 1 (ace) to 10—-set a money amount for everyone to put in and then draw cards that will be your number now to determine winners you add up the 1st column of both teams scord example if the score is 24-27—-seven and four add up to 11so whoever drew the ace would win and you can do this for all four quarters or halftime and the end of the game or just one big jackpot at the end of game—hope this helps
  4. You can do a 10 square pool too, we do them all the time. Just make 10 connecting squares and let everyone pick a square, after all squares are picked, get ace thru 10 out a deck of cards, mix them up, put them face down and pick a card at a time, and put a number on top of each square going left to right. At the end of the game you add the scores together, he winning number is the number on the right of the added scores.

    Example 27 to 30 the winning number would be 7. 30 to 10 would be zero. and so on. You can make the squares woth what ever you want. You could do10 dollar per square and give 25 dollars per quarter or have one winner for 100 dollars.
